The Famous 70% Rule
Flex cars can run on Ethanol or Gasoline. However, Ethanol (alcohol) burns faster and makes your car achieve about 30% less mileage. Therefore, the universal mathematical rule of advantage states that the price of alcohol cannot be higher than 70% of the price of gasoline, otherwise, you will be paying less when filling up the tank, but paying more when you need to stop at the gas station sooner!
