In fact, a Watt is \"one Joule spent per second.\" This means that, multiplying by a thousand (kilo) and then by one hour of time,a single kWh is equivalent to the incredible mark of 3,600,000 (3.6 million) Joules.
Simple Example
If your refrigerator consumed 1 kWh to run all day, the generators had to spill more than Three Million and a Half Joules into the street wires to sustain the appliance in your home. To make this calculation, wewe take the kWh and multiply by 3,600,000.
