If you are going to rent a car in the United States and stop at a gas station, or if you are going to buy milk at an American supermarket, you will see that nothing is sold in Liters. They use the Gallon. The rule is:1 US gallon (US gal) holds the equivalent of 3.7854 Brazilian liters.
Trip Calculation
If your car's tank holds 50 liters and you want to know how much that is outside, just take the number of liters anddivide by 3.7854.
Example: 50 liters ÷ 3.7854 = Your tank holds approximately 13.2 gallons of fuel.
