What defines a Paragraph?

Unlike a simple line, a paragraph is a structured block of text that develops a central idea, usually separated by a blank line (a double Enter) or page indentation. Our intelligent algorithm tracks these separate blocks to accurately count the intellectual portions of your writing.

Why count paragraphs?

ENEM and university entrance exam essays usually require a clear structure: 1 introductory paragraph, 2 or 3 development paragraphs, and 1 concluding paragraph. In addition, online blogs with paragraphs of only 2 to 3 sentences help much more with quick reading on a cellphone than huge and exhausting blocks.
