What is the Factorial?
O factorialof a positive integer, represented by the exclamation mark symbol (!), is the result of multiplying that number by all its predecessors down to the number 1.
Simple Examples:
- 3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6
- 5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 120
- 0!= By mathematical convention, the factorial of zero is always equal to 1.
